This site is intended to help students and parents stay current with classwork and general expectations.

Site Purpose:
I hope that my class web site is a creative way of getting students and parents excited about the subject of English/Literature by keeping them up to date on assignments, handouts, and expectations. I also intend to provide valuable information and online resources and infromation about their teacher. A class site should be engaging, therefore, I'll present information that makes the subject interesting and fun, such as brain teasers or polls about current events. Of course, I'll want to include plenty of links so students can explore a wealth of ideas on the web.
Enjoy the site!

Meet the Challenge!

I was born in London, the son of a wine dealer. Taken prisoner in the French wars, he had to be ransomed by Edward III in 1360. I made several journeys abroad, both on military service and public business. I became justice of the peace for Kent in 1385 and member of Parliament for Kent in 1386. I wrote many tales about my time period. Late in 1399 I moved to Westminster and died the following year; I was buried in the Poets’ Corner of Westminster Abbey.  Who am I?

Last week's answer: Francesco Petrarch
